Won Guinness World Record Medal
One of the smallest city cars, favorite because of the simple way of parking, formally can receive two people in it’s space and informally – even eighteen! This was proven by members of Australian Climb Fit Team. They accepted the challenge and won Guinness World Record Medal by being crammed in a standard Smart for five seconds. Even though it sounds simple, attached video clip shows that this is not for claustrophobic people, nor for the ones that do not have physical flexibility. Because of the dangerous nature of the project, the members have gained the possibility of using the word „broccoli“ if they want to get out of the car quickly.
Weird Positions
Both male and female members were equally involved in winning the record. Five people was set up in the bunker of the car in very weird and demanding positions, while the other members of the team were set up in the front part of the car in positions that requested arms, legs and heads turned down. Every possible space was filled with members an the eighteenth female member was literally intruded in the car with the help from the outside. In this case the most of their flexibility, patience and self discipline was shown.
Good Advertising
Although the size of the Smart remains the same, it seems like the space in it is getting bigger considering the constant breaking of the records. This must be a good advertisement for the Smart makers because even if you think that there is no more space, there can somehow somewhere be crammed in two more people. This kind of trend in setting records by cramming people into a car, besides Smart, is popular for other brands of cars too. Anyhow, the only car by it’s size that could seriously compete with Smart in winning the Guinness World Record is Fiat 500. By it’s previously set up record he can receive only fourteen „passengers“. If you are not satisfied with your life accomplishments by now, gather a team, rent a Smart or Fiat 500 and start breaking a Guinness World Record, because if you can hold on for five seconds crammed in this kind of a small car with twenty other people – anything else will be chicken feed.
