Will You Marry Me
I guess the guy proposed to his bride to be at the time, this took place back in November of 2010. If the wedding still happened, I am not sure, but this guy had some lasting pain. Men don’t always outright ask a girl to marry them anymore. I never hear of many getting down on one knee and proposing or asking their father in law to be for the daughters hand in marriage. I remember my husband just saying, “well, do you want to get married.” I guess that is a proposal, not really sure.
Wedding Preparations
Once the date has been set, then it seems the bride is almost too busy to spend a lot of time with the groom other than to ask, what flavor cake do you think we should have. Or taking dance lessons together so they do a great first dance. There are still moments of together time unless you want to get married in a hurry. Allow at least one year of getting things together if possible.
Bachelor Party
That is the guys favorite part. A night out with the guys and no girls, well none that matter anyway. Going to strip bars, or having a party with a stripper is a really big deal. After all, it’s the guys last night as a free man. Patrick Gallagher probably wishes he had never had that bachelor party. His was at a the Penthouse Club in Port Richmond, Pa. It was a strip club. After being invited to lay down on the stage, beneath a strip pole, the stripper went up the pole pretty far, then plunged quickly down the pole onto Patrick’s stomach. Ouch isn’t enough to explain how it felt. Patrick ended up in the emergency room later the next morning. He was suffering from eternal bleeding and the stripper had ruptured his bladder. Patrick then had to endure surgery to fix his bladder. What went from a joyous night ended up in severe pain and misery. I wonder if the wedding was postponed to a later date.
