The doctors body was found lodged in her boyfriends chimney. She died from being unable to breathe. She was wedged in so tight that her chest could not move in and out to allow her to breathe.
She had been upset with her boyfriend, their relationship had been an off and on thing and she was trying to get into his house.
First she had tried to get in with a shovel, then she must have decided to try going down the chimney. After taking off the cap to the chimney, Dr.Jacquelyn Kotarac got into it and slid down trying to get to the lower opening. She became stuck.
Kotarac, of Central California and 49 years of age, was discovered in the chimney 3 days later.
Her boyfriend did not know she was in the chimney. To avoid talking to her, he had left his home earlier unknowingly to her.
