They went to Junior High together. Met when they were both in the 7th grade. Now, 50 years have past and they are getting married in the same Junior High school which they met.
South East Junior High in Iowa is where the couple will say their nuptials.
They will say their vows in the same room that they shared their very first dance together.
They became acquainted in home room when the teacher placed everyone in alphabetical order in the class.
In the eighth grade they were a couple but had broken up before high school. They did continue to stay friends and kept up with what each other was doing. They both even had two marriages that had ended.
Karen Wilcox and Mike Wilson are the lucky couple. They began dating last January when Mike moved to Iowa City. He had been living in Florida. After retiring, from being a surgeon, he decided to move back to Iowa.
They will say their vows in the same room that they shared their very first dance together.
