Brooke Greenberg is not aging. She is 17 and weighs only around 16 pounds and is about 30 inches in  height.

Brooke has the approximated intellectual ability of a 9 to 12 month old baby. She looks and acts like a one year old. She seems to be frozen in time unable to grow up.

Her doctors refer to her condition as Syndrome X.

Scientists are looking into her DNA to get new perceptiveness as to what causes people to grow old.

Brooke was being thought of as a medical oddness  but is has been found that she has defects in her genes which could be stopping  her from aging.

Through studies of Brooke, it is possible that some things could be found to help realize how the body ages. Comparing her genes to average ones may help locate the genes and manipulate them.

For now, she is a little girl that will never grow up or old.
