A Student from the state of Delaware did a real good job of faking his way into Harvard. They bought all he told them and has received $45000 worth of aid to attend. He’s received financial help, grants and scholarships.
Adam Wheeler is a 23 year old man from Milton,Delaware. He wanted to go to Harvard. He lied about his past education records and was granted admittance to Harvard in 2007.
If he had just relaxed and went for an education once a student there, he may have not been noticed and actually graduated eventually from Harvard.
Adam worked too hard. He brought attention to himself. He applied for scholarships that required written material and that was a bit of his downfall. His writing was recognized by a staff member as being similar to that of a co-worker.
This caused a more extensive look into his background.
He is now being charged with 20 different instances. He is charged with theft, identity fraud, and telling them he had a degree from another school.
Wheeler was an English student and at the time was attempting to transfer to Yale and Brown. He was caught and will face the charges against him.
Because of his deception, there are others that were better qualified for the scholarships and awards that he received, that may not have obtained the help they needed.
