At a Krispy Kreme location in Fayetteville, N.C. a customer ordered a box of 12 fresh out of the oven glazed donuts.
Well, what they got was much better then any donuts I have ever eaten. In the box of donuts, instead of donuts the patron should have found $5000. in cash.
Unknowing to the clerk who was selling the donuts at the time., the manager had put the stores cash receipts into the donuts box to keep the cash safe until it could be deposited into the bank.
This is actually a typical routine at that store.
When the customer placed their order at the drive up window, the clerk did what they were suppose to do. Handed the customer a box of donuts or what they thought contained donuts.
The customer must have enjoyed what they got, so far hasn’t returned the box saying it was not what they ordered.
I would think now that the Krispy Kreme store will be changing their policy on putting money in donut boxes to keep it safe. Why not put it in the safe?
