Man coughs out nail that stuck in nose for 30 years
Some might have accidentally stepped on nails and gotten themselves injured. But, it isn’t that common to hear nail that stuck in the nasal cavity for the past 30 years. In fact, one guy had experienced it all, yet he has no idea how the nail had gotten into his nasal cavity.
According to the man, he was at the hospital for a MRI scan. However, when he was asked to lye down on the machine, he felt a sharp pain down his right eye. The man was then asked to leave the machine, as doctor was afraid that there might be metallic pieces on him. Not long after the man was told to leave the room, he coughed out a small nail. Both the man and the doctor was stunned to see the nail that seemed to come out from the former nasal cavity.
Further diagnosis confirmed that magnetic field from the MRI had forced the nail out from the man’s nasal cavity. To date, the man has no idea how the nail could have gotten into his nose.
