A 35 year old man was scheduled to have a cyst removed. Only what the doctors discovered, was not a cyst.
The polish man was residing in Germany. He continued to do as he always had thinking he had only been hit rather hard in the head.
It had happened back in 2004 or 2005. He had been at a New Years Eve party and about midnight, he was very drunk and was hit in the head.
He had since forgotten about it.
“He told us he remembered having a sore head, but that he wasn’t really one for going to the doctor,” the spokesman said.
The injury healed around where the bullet was lodged and went undiscovered until the man decided to have the lump on his head checked out. He was having pains in it and wanted it examined.
The incident is thought to be an accident and is not being treated as suspicious. They were partying, a person at the party most likely shot off a gun in celebration and the bullet hit the Polish man in the head.
The gun was most likely shot up into the air for safety, but when the bullet came back down, it hit the man in the head.
The man lives in Herme and has for many years. He will be released and allowed to return home. The bullet has been removed.
