An 89-year old woman took his neighbour's ball without permission, and now she's facing charges that may send her to jail. Edna Jester from Blue Ash, Ohio, picked up a football belonged to her neighbour, in her yard, and the whole process was recorded down by passers-by.
Her neighbour Kelly Tanis accused Jester of stealing instead of just 'taking' the ball belonged to his child because Jester had done that a few times before. "This time it was a ball that my son had just bought with his own money. He works and he makes his own money, and he bought that ball, and six days later she took it." Annoyed Tanis eventually reported to the police, and officers had urged the 90-year old woman to hand the ball back.
But Jester had no intention of giving in. "I said go ahead and arrest me. Handcuff me if you'd like, because I said I'm not guilty of anything," said Jester. "I was giving it back sooner or later, but not right now, so they could make a laughing stock out of me." As a result, the old woman is due to appear in court, 12 November.
