Nigeria is notorious for crimes. It seems as if in Nigeria, age is no bar for criminal world. Right from a young lad to an old chap, everyone is involved in one or other criminal activities. This theory was proved right when a 114 year old man was arrested by Nigeria's anti narcotics squad after Capturing six and a half tones of marijuana from his home. According to The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, it captured 254 sacks of cannabis from his house. The man called Sulaiman Adebayo was still healthy. He was caught from the Ogun state at north of Lagos.
He still remembers many 19th century incidents. He claimed to have attended the inaugural function of a famous hall in Ogun state's capital city Abeokuta in 1895 as a small boy. He told he is 114 years of old although there is no proof for his age.
Mr. Adebayo was a farmer throughout his life. He used to collect rice sacks and keep them in his store. He told the police that he thought the sacks contained rice. There were no evidences of a drug racket from his words. But according to the police it is a very serious issue and looking at the quantity, police feels that a large group may be behind the scene. They think that more people are involved in the case and police is all set to hunt them as early as possible.
