Reportedly, Hudson and celevrity stylist David Babaii agreed orally with 220 Laboratories to manufacture a hair care product. The main ingredient would be none other than the volcanic ashes of Vanuatu Islands of the South Pacific. The problem came when Babaii later on turned to another company, namely Universal Packaging Systems Inc, to develope the product instead. The lawsuit was filed on Friday, at the Los Angeles Superior Court.

The Canadian singer's performance was previously banned after Parti se-Islam Malaysia, which is an Islamist party, opposed, fearing that Malaysian teens would be heavily influenced by Western pop culture, especially when the National Day is near. "In giving the approval, the cabinet also instructed the (arts and culture) ministry to monitor the concert to ensure that the performances do not clash with the Malaysian culture and values," said the Arts and Culture Minister Mohamad Shafie Apdal.
