A Polish farmer is arrested for driving his tractor down the stairs in the city of Tczew, north west Poland. 45-year old Tomasz Jankowski drove his tractor down a set of stairs which he thought was a road, after drinking with his friends. He had his vehicle stucked between the stairs before he fled only to be captured by the police an hour after that. Consequently, Jankowski was charged with damaging public property and drunk driving. A prisoner from a US jail broke out leaving behind a paper made flower. Luis Camacho-Mendoza the criminal escaped from a detention centre in Crawford County, Arkansas. He left behind a rose made of toilet paper as his way of apologising to the jail administrator. Two Romanian thieves were captured for stealing grapes from a rival's warehouse. Ladislau Darocz and Florin Calin broke into the warehouse and hauled 580 kilos of grapes from their rival whose larger store rendered them out of business. A man from Russia was arrested for chasing after her ex-girlfriend - in a stolen vehicle. 24 year old Vladimir Kirov was on his way to stopping her former lover from marrying another guy. He hijacked a bus in Vologda by forcing out all the passengers and the driver, before speeding to the church in order to obstruct the wedding ceremony. However, poor Vladimir was halted by the police, who chased him across the city, just a few yards away from his destination and was taken into custody. Source: Ananova
A British woman was caught for smuggling drugs - which were hidden under her wig. The 32-year old woman glued a kilogram of cocaine to her real hair, and had it covered up with a wig. Customs officers at Vaernes airport found her suspicious as they noticed that the woman had 'a lot of hair'. It was then discovered that the woman actually wore a wig and there was a bag of cocaine under it. The criminal was sent to the hospital after that to have the drugs removed from her hair. An old man from Italy was hurt fighting over the last piece of cake at an all-you-can-eat buffer held in a restaurant in Novate Milanese. Niccolo Bruno the victim grabbed the last cake and another pensioner Alfredo Mancini, who was aiming for the same piece of cake, stabbed Bruno with a knife on his hand at the food counter. The guilty man then tried to flee out of the restaurant but was arrested by the police. Bruno was hospitalized after the incident but he appears to be fine. Source: Ananova
Two German car thieves had to call the police for help, after they were chased by wild boars. Dieter Meier and Reiner Klose stole a car and were pursued by the police in the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania region. The 18-year old teenagers then fled into a forest to hide leaving the vehicle behind, but not long after that the guys ran into a herd of wild boar. The thieves were forced to climb up a tree but the animals would not go away. They ended up calling the police for help and was arrested right after that. Source: Ananova
A US shopkeeper came up with an unusual way in dealing with thieves, and he thought it was a brilliant idea. Gabe Fidanque, of Colorado, is furious with the police as he was losing 500 GBP per month to shoplifters and the police were doing almost nothing to prevent that. Instead of giving the criminals a beating, Gabe demanded them to give him one of their shoes: "I'm either going to call the cops or you give me one of your shoes!" Two burglars broke into a house only to find a bunch of cops inside. There were police officers all around the building in Melbourne, Australia as soon as the thieves got in through the window. Reportedly, the police were looking for a 20-year old criminal, who was suspected to have grown hydroponic cannabis inside the house. A robber who previously robbed a Starbucks at Boulder, Colorado returned to the crime scene two days afterthat to enjoy a cup of coffee, but ended up being captured by the police. The 42-year old criminal went back to the cafe wearing the same clothes wore during the robbery. The foolish guy was unaware of the presence of Detective Kurt Foster, who happened to be there, questioning the staff about the robbery.
