Her lawyer is placing the blame on the scammer, Bernard Madoff. Zsa Zsa invested close to 7 million dollars in one of his scams and the amount she owes on taxes is involved with the loss.
Zsa Zsa’s lawyer, Chris Fields has said that it was third party money managers that chose to invest her money in Madoffs scheme.
Frederic von Anhatt, Zsa Zsa’s husband and Zsa Zsa are checking out everything they can so they can work out some kind of payment plan with the IRS.
